Black Men Teach works to recruit, prepare, place and retain Black male educators in Twin Cities elementary schools. They advocate for the academic, social, and emotional benefits that students of color experience when they are taught by teachers who look like them. Black Men Teach is committed to building a pipeline that supports 100 Black male teachers in the next 10 years.

The recipient changes monthly, with organizations chosen by a committee of Wedge and Linden Hills Co-op staff.
