The Link is a youth and adult led non-profit based in North Minneapolis. Founded by 2 former MN Vikings players, Jim Marshall and Oscar Reed, The Link has been supporting young people in our community for 30+ years. The Link is known for being uniquely youth led, hiring youth with lived experience of homelessness, sex trafficking or juvenile justice involvement to provide expert insight to oversee programs and help advocate for systems change as The Link works to build equity in our community. The Link offers a safety net for youth who are often left behind, providing programs made to meet the specific needs of Black youth, LGBTQ youth, young parents, and more. By rounding up at the register this month, you are supporting The Link as they provide emergency shelter, permanent housing, and a full range of support to meet youths’ basic needs, help them get off the streets and into safe, stable homes.
