The Somali American Farmers Association (SAFA) exists to promote healthy and sustainable agriculture. This association was founded in 2020 to support Somali and immigrant farmers who focus on culturally specific, organic produce and indigenous African farming practices. SAFA encourages sustainable farming techniques and knowledge transfer to the next generation of farmers through hands-on training and targeted projects in community neighborhoods.
