We’re hosting a food drive in July in response to the heightened needs in our community. Together, we can make a big impact. With the pandemic, and many people losing their jobs/grocery stores as a result of the riots, there is an increased demand for food donations. Together, we can give back to groups reaching those in need.

Donations to the Wedge will be distributed to Joyce Uptown Food Shelf, and donations to Linden Hills will be distributed to Groveland Food Shelf. Items can be dropped off in the designated drop-off areas near the registers at each location, just look for the signs.

For this food drive, the following items are currently the most requested by the food shelves:

• Shelf stable goods
• Packaged goods
• Dried Beans/Lentils
• Rice (all kinds)
• Pasta
• Peanut Butter (or alternatives)
• Cereal (Hot and Cold)
• Deodorant
• Toothpaste
• Toothbrush
• Laundry detergent
• Dish soap
• Shampoo
• Conditioner
