CAP: THE CO-OP AFFORDABILITY PROJECT
We believe everyone deserves access to healthy, high-quality foods that support a sustainable future for our planet. CAP is designed to reduce the cost barriers to healthful eating and provide practical solutions that don’t sacrifice values or budget.
Wedge and Linden Hills Co-op owners currently enrolled in WIC, SNAP, SSDI/SSI, Section 8 Housing, Refugee Cash Assistance, Medical Assistance (Medicaid), or Minnesota Care are eligible to receive a 10% everyday discount through CAP.
10% NEEDS-BASED DISCOUNT
CAP owners receive an everyday discount of 10%, applied automatically at the register at Wedge Lyndale and Linden Hills Co-op.
In addition to the 10% everyday discount, CAP owners receive quarterly 10% coupons.
EASY PATH TO OWNERSHIP
Shoppers can join CAP for an initial investment of just $10*.

SIGN-UP TODAY!
Visit Customer Service to enroll. Please bring with you proof of eligibility – a letter, card or form showing that you receive the qualifying benefits. You will be asked to renew one year from enrollment.
ANNUAL CAP RENEWAL
Once a year, CAP owners will be asked to renew their ownership at the customer service desk by showing proof of their eligibility. Cashiers will remind CAP owners when they’re up for renewal.
*The remaining $70 of stock will be accrued overtime through patronage refunds. Patronage refunds occur when the co-op was profitable during the previous fiscal year and the board votes to issue a percentage of annual spend back to co-op owners. CAP owners are not eligible to receive patronage refunds until their stock is paid in full.
